Windyknowe has been beautifully redecorated in March 2014 and the house is furnished and equipped to a high standard.

It sits in a lovely large garden which is well-maintained and contains many mature shrubs and trees and is positioned high on a bank above the quiet lane which winds alongside the River Stinchar. The house occupies a wonderful position and has a fabulous large and bright reception room with log fire, a south-facing bay window and doors to the veranda.

The large kitchen has a cosy atmosphere with four-oven Aga and dining table in the bay window overlooking the river. There are three good-sized bedrooms each with modern en-suite bath and shower rooms and there is space for a seventh person in a single room off one of the upstairs bedrooms.

This large house on the edge of the village of Ballantrae is very spacious and has a deep sunny veranda with a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside, the river and the sea.

It has been thoughtfully decorated and makes a wonderful place for a holiday with plenty of space for everyone.

First Floor: Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and separate shower. Twin bedroom (can be made up as a double on request) with en-suite bathroom and separate shower and single bedroom off it.
